Flipping And Wholesaling

The difference between wholesaling and flipping has to do with the exit strategy of your deal.

Some people feel these two words are the same, so let's explore a  definition of each.

House flipping is when someone buys a property and holds onto it for a short time and then sells it (the flip part) in the hopes of making a profit.

Instead of buying a home to live in, you’re buying a home as a real estate investment that in some cases you may have rehabbed or remodeled.

Wholesaling is when a house is put under contract and that house is sold as-is to most likely an investor. You are the person in the middle contracting the property for a decent price and marking it up for the end buyer.
